Homemade cranberry, orange and amaretto jam, perfect for desserts and cheeses. Easy to prepare in just a few minutes!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • ½ cup sugar
  • The zest and juice of a clementine or small orange
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of Avril Quebec amaretto

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients. In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, orange zest and juice, salt and Quebec Amaretto Avril.
  2. Heat the preparation. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Let it simmer. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent the mixture from sticking.
  4. Thicken the jam. Remove the pan from the heat once the cranberries have burst and the mixture has thickened.
  5. Cool. Allow jam to cool completely before transferring to an airtight container or using.

Notes

  • For a more tangy touch, add more orange zest or juice to taste.
  • This jam can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about two weeks.
